First United Methodist offers a variety of worship experiences:

9:00 am Morning Glory Worship:
The Morning Glory worship service is a blended service, combining contemporary music with traditional worship elements within a informal environment.  Not only is the service blended but those who gather for worship are a also blended.  We represent different ages, races, economic classes and stages in our spiritual journey.  Part of our journey together is the partaking together of Holy Communion weekly.  We hold up scripture teaching relevant and encouraging messages.  We welcome all people who want to meet with God and be transformed by the Spirits presence.   

9:00 am Early Service Worship:
This traditional service has a nostalgic influence with an open and inviting atmosphere.  Included in the service is a congregational moment of prayer concerns and praise report sharing with old-time hymns and favorite FUMC Choir selections.  This service is being held in the Chapel in the MMC Building.

 
Worship in the main sanctuary at 9:00 and 11:00 am on Sunday mornings.

11:00 am Traditional Worship:

Beginning at 11:00 every Sunday morning in our beautiful sanctuary, this service affords a life changing opportunity to connect with God through the vital experi-ence of sharing and participating in the great traditions of Methodist worship.  You will experience traditional spirited hymn singing and moving choral music by the FUMC Choir which includes many of the Church's current and old masters.  Congregation affirmations, prayers and moments of spiritual quietude and inner resolve are effectually led through the sincere, dynamic worship leadership of our senior minister, Dr. Harold Lawrence, along with other clergy staff at our church.

11:00 am Korean Church of LaGrange UMC

We are excited to host the Korean Church of LaGrange.  Come and join our faithful Korean congre-gation on Sunday mornings at 11:00 in the Chapel located in the Methodist Ministries Center with a gathering of food and fellowship following.  To see more of this congregation, click here www.jesusforus.org.
