The Maranatha class is a twenty-five year old class that is still welcoming new members.  We are a very family oriented class of singles and couples that uses a variety of curriculum materials with emphasis on Old Testament study.  We often have lively discussions while having coffee and snacks.  Some of our lessons have included:  Beth Moore's The Patriarchs; Rick Warren's The Purpose Driven Life; C.S. Lewis' Mere Christianity and Phillip Yancey's What's so Amazing About Grace?  Members of the class teach through lecture, discussion and video.

Maranatha members actively participate in LaGrange FUMC projects, serve on and lead church committees, sing in the choir and play with the handbell choir, and support the church's and other classes' fundraisers.  Our class mission is to help all those in need, but most especially single mothers and their children.

Our class meets in Room B-5 in the Sanctuary Building basement and would love for you to join us.
