The mission of the Circle of Friends' Sunday School class is to provide a "safe space" to help each member on his or her own spiritual journey. The class lessons and discussions are primarily facilitated by Dr. Quincy Brown, Morning Glory Minister and LaGrange College Chaplain, and are structured to help each of us connect our life story with the larger Biblical story.
The concept of a "Circle of Friends" is two-fold. First, it is a group of people who share of themselves and support others. Second, a circle is a process that continuously repeats itself. Such is the way of our lives--both physically and spiritually--and the three-step process we explore. Our life's journey is a continuous process of letting go, enduring limbo and starting over. A circle can be dynamic and ever-changing. It can expand to accept others into the circle. We are always looking for new people to help us expand our Circle of Friends.
Our class is based on a small group discussion format where you may or may not choose to participate in lively discussions. We have both married couples and well as single adults. We are located on the first floor of the Methodist Ministries Center.
