56 Degrees - Mission Work

Missions is an important part of the 56 Degree Group. Each year we raise money through fundraisers to support our mission projects.  We think it is important to each our youth involved in mission work at an early age.  The 56 Degree group does most if not all of their mission work here in Troup County.  Some of the work we have done in the past were filling stockings for nursing homes, singing at the Florence Hand Christmas Party, participating in Paint the town by putting together team boxes and providing water to workers.  We also provide Christmas each year for a family.  Last year we started our battery mission which provides 9volt batteries to homeowners so that they change their smoke detector battery and save the life that God gave them.  This is only a few of our projects that we do throughout the year.

Our students learn that it is important to give back to others in the community.  And that through mission work our students have touched numerous lives while doing the work of Christ.
