The Thursday Lunch Club (TLC) is a ministry by, with, and for older adults that is held the first Thursday of each month, except in January and July. The meal is at 12:00 noon in the fellowship hall of the Methodist Ministries Building and costs $5.00 per person. Following the meal there is a program that can vary from entertainment to inspiration to information. This event is open to persons of all faiths and denominations. It is planned with persons over 55 in mind but everyone is welcome to attend.

At 11:00 am, before the meal, there are opportunities for free blood pressure and blood sugar checks. In August, there is a more complete Health Screening offered.

Occasional trips are planned to plays in Atlanta or Columbus or other sightseeing opportunities within a day's drive of the church.
