Family Night is enjoyed every Wednesday evening in the MMC. The Methodist Ministries Center (commonly known as the MMC) was opened in 2002 and has been a great resource for the members of First United Methodist as well as the entire community. The MMC is the home of many Sunday school classes, the entire Youth area, a Music room, a gymnasium/multi-purpose room, a stage, kitchen, small dining room, and the Chapel.

Gymnasium

Church members enjoy the 1/8 mile walking track in the MMC. common sport utilizations of this facility. Church league basketball as well as pick up games are played here. The Gymnasium is home of our Sunday morning contemporary service, Morning Glory. Our Wednesday Night Family suppers are also held in this room. The others uses of this room are wide and varied --wedding receptions, fashion shows, Cub Scout Pinewood Derby. The uses are many!

Banquets, luncheons, and birthday parties are other popular uses. Tables and chairs can be provided with the room capacity at 400 persons. The MMC is equipped with state of the art sound and lighting systems and has excellent capabilities for video or power point presentations.

Stage
The MMC has a wonderful, modern stage. The stage is used for musicals, plays, and concerts throughout the year. With the lighting and sound systems, a professional quality production can be staged from our facility. Seating can be arranged for up to 500 persons.

The small dining room hosts meetings and meals for up to 54 persons. Small dining Room
This room provides an excellent place for small luncheons or dinner parties. The room can sit up to 54 persons, with the ideal arrangement at 48. This is also an excellent meeting room with television, video and power point capabilities. The room can be quickly converted from meals to meeting space.
